About Us
Who We Are
Based in Braga and founded in 2024, Abansec — a name derived from “Advanced Security” — supports installation companies in the development of hardware and software engineering solutions, as well as in consulting and the supply of Electronic Security products. Our areas of expertise include Fire Detection, CCTV, Alarm Systems, Access Control, and Home Automation.
We are committed to the “Value for Money” principle, offering certified solutions that ensure an optimal quality-to-price ratio and full compliance with all legal requirements for commercialization and installation.
We value proximity and direct communication. We are always available by phone, email, or WhatsApp — without automated call centers — ensuring fast, personal, and efficient technical support.
Our Objectives
Abansec’s goal is to empower the installers it works with by providing the technical knowledge required to apply its products, both during the project design phase and throughout implementation. We actively support initial installations, ensuring that each installer gains the confidence and autonomy to carry out future integrations independently..
Our Guarantees
In addition to its management and technical team, Abansec collaborates with internationally renowned companies, ensuring the quality of the products integrated into its portfolio.
Every product or system commercialized by Abansec undergoes rigorous testing by our technical team, guaranteeing reliability and suitability for market requirements.
As these are highly complex electronic products, unforeseen situations may occasionally arise. In such cases, Abansec fully assumes the appropriate warranties, ensuring a prompt and effective response to any eventuality.
Waste Management
Abansec works with Electrão – Waste Management Association to ensure the proper management of waste from electrical equipment, packaging, and batteries.
Electrão is the entity responsible for three of the main national collection and recycling systems — packaging, batteries, and waste electrical equipment — operating a network of more than 6,000 collection points across the country. It is also responsible for nationwide packaging recycling.
To ensure full compliance with legal requirements, Electrão operates as a licensed entity for managing integrated waste systems for Packaging, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), and Batteries and Accumulators, in accordance with Dispatches No. 6907/2017, No. 5257/2018, and No. 11275-D/2017.
